Public Affairs & Advocacy Committee

The Public Affairs and Advocacy Committee works closely with NASPGHAN leadership and NASPGHAN’s Washington advocate to address issues relating to clinical practice, research, patient care and safety, and other areas of interest to pediatric gastroenterologists both in private practice and academic environments. The committee does this by meeting with congressional representatives, communicating with government officials, regulatory and funding agencies, and uniting with other organizations or coalitions with similar interests.
