NASPGHAN provides lifelong continuing education for members at every level of their career.

The North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in collaboration with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) will offer a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Pediatric Transplant Hepatology. A candidate who has a primary certificate from ABIM should contact the ABIM office for its eligibility criteria and registration dates. The 2010 Pediatric Transplant Hepatology Certifying Examination will be administered on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at computerized testing centers in various cities.

The HOPE Project

The Health and Obesity: Prevention and Education (HOPE) project is a multidisciplinary, healthy living-counseling curriculum that educates clinicians on how to recognize children at risk for obesity and its co-morbidities and how to promote healthy weight among children and their families.
