Esophageal Stricture
Endoscopic photograph of a mid-esophageal stricture that developed in a 4 yo after previously undergoing esophageal repair for esophageal atresia. The stricture has a smooth appearance. The esophageal lumen in a 4 yo normally easily expands to a diameter of approximately 15 mm; however, a 5 mm endoscope could not be passed through this stricture. (CAL)
