The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), will host a webinar to familiarize health care providers with CDC’s recommendations for perinatal hepatitis C testing and universal hepatitis C screening among pregnant persons.

The webinar will encourage the implementation of the recommendations to increase identification and treatment of children with perinatally acquired HCV infection.
