Alaska - Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Providence Health & Services is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a busy practice at The Children´s Hospital at Providence (TCHAP). Currently the group includes one pediatric gastroenterologist and one Advanced Nurse Practitioner. This is an opportunity to cover the full range of Peds GI and candidates must be comfortable with all major areas of the specialty (other than peri-operative transplant care) and virtually all relevant procedures. Advantages of this practice include availability of experienced endoscopy assistants and anesthesiologists for all procedures, including those done after hours. A full pediatric hospitalist service is available; pediatric gastroenterologists are consult only. Clinic is currently utilizing Epic EMR. The practice draws from the population base of the entire state of Alaska, about 723,000 people. Academic and clinical research activities are available, as well as opportunities for consultative practice with other facilities in the area. This hospital-employed position offers highly competitive compensation with cost-of-living adjustment and generous, comprehensive benefits. Private practice model also available. The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Florida is seeking a full-time BC/BE pediatric gastroenterologist at the Assistant Professor level. The division currently includes 6 pediatric gastroenterologists, an experienced PA, NP, 3 RNs, office manager, nutrition support and a well-established accredited Pediatric GI fellowship program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and an enthusiasm for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The division currently sees a wide variety of gastrointestinal/liver diseases and has specialty clinics including feeding aversion, liver, transplant, and inflammatory bowel disease. We have strong support from our active Pediatric Liver transplant program, Pediatric Surgeons, Pediatric Radiology, and our Adult GI colleagues.

The University of Florida Pediatric GI program was recently ranked as the highest pediatric gastroenterology practice in the state of Florida by U.S. News & World Report. UF Health at Shands Children’s Hospital, located on the campus of the University of Florida, has 167 inpatient beds, including a 24 bed level PICU, and 22 bed level III NICU. There are over 160 Pediatric faculty members and over 60 trainees from Pediatric residency and fellowship programs. New York - Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology

The Gastroenterology Division, Department of Pediatrics, SUNY Upstate Medical Center and Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY have initiated a national search to identify candidates for the Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology.

Texas - Pediatric Gastroenterologist

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a Division engaged in diverse clinical and academic practice including an active liver transplant program set to start this fall. The appointment will be at the rank of assistant or associate level, depending on qualifications and experience.
